Next weekend there will be a Missionary Experience in Buenos Aires. The Group Buenos Aires Light-Network and the “Missionary Youth for Peace” will participate in the Missionary Experience, in the Argentine capital, next weekend, July 20 and 21. Among the different activities planned for Saturday 20, approximately 12 people will go to the Women’s Home of the Missionary Sisters of Charity, located in the town of Beccar, northern Buenos Aires. There the group will unfold on three service fronts.
The first group will be in charge of maintaining the site, such as floor placement and door lock repair; The second group will be responsible for the follow-up of women admitted to this home, most of whom have mental and physical problems; And the third group will be in the men’s cafeteria, where lunch is provided to 300 men in poverty. In this location, food preparation tasks, cleaning and harmonization of the cafeteria hall, toilets and kitchen will be carried out.
On Sunday (21), the group will go to the community cafeteria “Barrial Los Gurises”, located in San Francisco Solano, southern area of Greater Buenos Aires. At this location, where everything is supported by donations, lunch and snack will be served for more than 200 people, among children and adults.
