There are six Light-Communities: civil associations of communal group life and ecumenical spiritual activity. They were created for the purpose of expressing fraternal life. They represent the seed of a new humanity, based on principles and values focused on self-giving, doing good, the surrender of self, and of love that forge the relationships and standards of conduct, as well as guide the daily tasks of prayer, study, music, retreat and selfless service to nature.
