There are various ways in which you can become involved with the activities of the Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF) and its affiliates: as a volunteer, a member of the Light-Network, or becoming a partner company.

The Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF) and its affiliates work with a diverse group of partners ranging from large international institutions to small local groups. These partners can be of different types: Implementors, of Intellectual and Innovation Resources, of Human Resources and of Financial Resources.

PARTNERSHIPS

Operação Acolhida is a major humanitarian task force executed and coordinated by Brazil’s federal government, through the Armed Forces, with the support of UN agencies and more than 100 civil entities, including the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FFHI). It was created in 2018 to welcome with dignity Venezuelan migrants and refugees. Its performance is based on three pillars: welcoming, sheltering and interiorization.

In 2020, the Fraternity Humanitarian (FFHI) became a Sphere focal point in Brazil and the rules of the Sphere Handbook were incorporated into the actions of the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Missions (FMHI) to train its teams of volunteer missionaries and plan the humanitarian missions that are carried out in Brazil and around the world.

Over two decades, the Esfera Movement has as reference the principles established in the Sphere Handbook, which parameterizes humanitarian actions according to good practices that guarantee effectiveness and quality in the reconstruction of lives affected by environmental, social and economic disasters, or by conflicts, armed or not, anywhere on the planet.

The International Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) is a global network that builds humanitarian and development structures to ensure that everyone has the right to quality, equitable and safe education. The Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FFHI) is the focal point of INEE in Brazil. In all, there are 12 INEE focal points around the world, representing Portuguese, English, French, Spanish and Arabic speaking communities.

Founded more than 75 years ago, Bethany Christian Services’ mission is to defend vulnerable children and young people, refugees and families in different regions of the world, serving more than 50,000 people every year.

It works together with the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Missions (FMHI) in emergency education projects for children, young people and families of Venezuelan migrants and refugees arriving in Colombia, also in projects to strengthen communities, especially for women in situation of extreme vulnerability in the same migratory context.

The Volunteer Association for The International Service – Brazil (AVSI Brazil) is a non-profit organization, established in 2007 to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of people in situations of vulnerability, through social projects in different areas. It is linked to the international context through the partnership with the AVSI Foundation, implementing more than 100 initiatives in 37 countries.

AVSI Brazil, as well as the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FFHI), is an implementing partner of the UNHCR that runs some shelters for Venezuelan refugees in Roraima and cooperate with the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FFHI) in the shelters of the Roraima Humanitarian Mission to guarantee the rights of migrants and refugees.

UNIVIRR

The UNIVIRR Foundation, a public institution of distance higher education, holds as its principles the integration between teaching, research, extension and technology, contributing to the exercise of citizenship in the process of building knowledge and a participatory culture.

Through technical and administrative cooperation established between the UNIVIRR Foundation and the Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF), the Foundation offers free in-person courses with certification for foreign refugees and migrants who are beneficiaries of the shelters under the management of the Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF).

Adventure Law

Company conceived by a multidisciplinary training team, composed of specialists in Law, Administration, Accounting and Organizational Mediation. The four partners have more than 20 years of experience in Business Law and Business Management in Brazil, Germany and Portugal.

The partnershipbetween ADVentures Law and Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FFHI) is consolidated mainly in tributary matters, in projects with refugees in the Roraima Humanitarian Mission, as well as in compliance, negotiation, contracts, among other valuable collaborations.

Capanema

Based in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, its purpose is to legally enable, boost and optimize the results of its customers. Capanema Soares do Couto Advogados Associados (CSC) works in the areas of Corporate Law, Civil Law, Administrative Law and cybersecurity, among several others.

The partnershipbetween Capanema Soares do Couto Advogados and the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FFHI) is based on ensuring compliance with ethical principles, as well as national and international laws in the Roraima Humanitarian Mission.

Eu Sou Solar

Provider of energy generation solutions using solar energy, a sustainable form of producing clean energy that preserves the planet for future generations.

The joint action with EuSouSolar was initiated with the installation of a solar electric generator in The Francisco de Assis Park, and continues with projects in support of other members of the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FFHI).

Avanzi

For almost four decades, the Avanzi Group has been operating throughout the national territory and abroad within the telecommunications market. It offers solutions for corporate voice and data communication in places lacking any type of communication or in places already provided with communication technology through installation and systems licensing.

The partnership with the Avanzi Group occurs through the realization of radiocommunication projects, support with the improvement of internet, and other means of connectivity of the Humanitarian Fraternity (FIHF) and its affiliates.
