caes_vac_curitiba5Curitiba, the capital of the state of Paraná, was the second city of the Circuit South of Brazil to launch the second edition of the book ‘Viver o Amor aos Cães’ (Living the Love for the Dogs), between May 4 and 7, 2016. Different segments of society participated.

Ana Regina Nogueira opened the events in the city on May 4, with a talk at a private elementary school, gathering four classrooms of children age 8-9 years. The owner of the school, a lover of the Plant Kingdom, attended the talk and liked the work very much, as well as the dynamic interaction that the authoress created with the children, enticing loving replies concerning the Animal Kingdom. Some were even called on stage to give their opinions. Both the authoress and the Network-of-Light group observed the high level of openness and awareness of the children.

‘Ana Regina did her talk with empathy and charisma. The children showed they loved it a lot, they were very participant, relaxed and spontaneous’, said Lilah Hossaka, the coordinator of the Network-of-Light of Curitiba.

caes_vac_curitiba1In the public launch of the book that took place on Thursday, May 5, in the bookstores Livrarias Curitiba, the talk counted on the presence of the Mayor of Curitiba, Gustavo Fruet and his wife, Marcia Fruet. Marcia had already bought the book at a vegetarian restaurant in the city of Brasilia, where it had been left since its launch in 2015, by the diffusion of the local Network-of-Light. She attended the event with her husband especially to hug and thank the authoress, emphatically stating that she agrees with the philosophy and spirituality of the book. Also present in the event were independent protectors, representatives, members and presidents of: NGO’s, Foundations, Forum of Defense of Animal Rights, Movement of the animals, of Animal Protection and Environmental Education, e of the groups ‘Help Street Animals’ and ‘Save Animals’, among others. The event encouraged two important local protectors also to write books about the relationship between dogs and humans.

caes_vac_curitiba2In the morning of the same day, Ana Regina gave an interview by telephone to the program Light News, of Radio Transamerica. On the following day, May 6, 2016, she participated in another interview, now in the studio of the radio 95 FM Curitiba. The owner of the radio, a lover of dogs, made a point of conducting the interview that lasted for one hour and occupied all the time of the program ‘Caminho do Bem’ (Path of Goodness).
‘The interviewer left the authoress at ease and she granted us her beautiful, to the point and warm statements’, said Lilah.

caes_vac_curitiba3On Friday, May 6, the authoress gave a talk to first-year students and to some residents of the course of Veterinarian Medicine of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). The presentation of Ana Regina drew the attention of the students, who became touched by the themes and stories of love, healing, communitarian life and voluntary group service.

The last event was on Saturday, May 7, at CEBB – Centro de Estudos Budistas Bodisatva (Center of Budist Studies Bodisatva – CBSB), first talk of the authoress in a spiritual place. Ana Regina, with great receptivity from the listeners, united ecumenical instruction with the principles of Budism, the life of the kennel with spirituality.
