Between July 28 and 31, the Community-of-Light of the Nova Terra, located in the city of Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, promoted the Ecumenical Meeting of Youths. 80 people, among youths, children and adults, participated.
In the meeting were dance shows of the youths, circus of clowns for the children, music, mosaic workshop, capoeira (a dance from Bahia, Brazil), volleyball and games. ‘Sharings’ of ideas were done and so were tasks with the Mineral, Plant and Animal Kingdoms, works of prayer and moments of silence in the Hill of Mary.
The event had also the pariticipation of Ana Rosa, a collaborator and mother of 23 children who resides in Porto Alegre. Ana attended the meeting accompanied by some of her children.
From August on, these ecumenical meetings among youths and children will take place on the second Saturday of each mongh in the Community-of-Light of the Nova Terra.
“During the event, we were also attuned with the Youth Festival for Peace and the World Youth Day. It was a meeting of peace and joy for all the hearts that were present”, said Nádia Moya, a collaborator of the Community-of-Light.
