Londrina, in the Brazilian state of Paraná, was the last city of the South of Brazil to receive the launch of the second edition of the book ‘Viver o Amor aos Cães’ (‘Living the Love for the Dogs’), published by the Irdin Editora and written by Ana Regina Nogueira.

caes_vac_londrina5One of the first activities of the group took place in the city hall, where the team of the Circuit South of launces was received by the city Mayor, who received four exemplars of the book.

On May 23, the authoress gave two lectures to 220 children and teachers of basic education of St. James International School. An audiovisual specially prepared for the children was shown. At each image of the dogs, they laughed and expressed various reactions. Then, Ana Regina created a dynamic interaction with the children, making them questions. The majority raised their arms, enthusiastic, insisting to be called and to answer them on the microphone.

caes_vac_londrina4On May 25, the book launch took place in the Livrarias Curitiba bookstores, where the city secretary was present, and so were the NGO SOS Animal Life and people from the community. In the event, and audiovisual about the Francis of Assisi Park was shown, followed by a lecture by the authoress and an autograph session. The meeting was accompanied by the sound of an acoustic contrabass and a guitar.

In Londrina, Ana Regina Nogueira still gave interviews to two rádios of the region, a TV channel and a newspaper.

caes_vac_londrina3The Circuit of itinerant launches in the South region lasted for 25 days and was present in nine cities. Tens of volunteers, members of the Network-of-Light of several cities of the South of Brazil participated and collaborated in the launches.

To Lúcia SIrangelo, one of the coordinators of the South Network-of-Light and who participated in the group of support that accompanied the whole Circuit South of launches, the period was one of apprenticeship, ‘during the month of May, the service to the Animal Kingdom in the South conducted us to a greater love to Life. The heart of each one of us expanded and the perception of an inner light, of the internal Christ made itself more present in daily life’, she said.
