The team of the circuit South of launch of the second edition of the book ‘Viver o Amor aos Cães’ (‘Living the Love for the Dogs’) promoted an event on May 24, 2016, at the State University of the North of Paraná – UENP, located in the town of Bandeirantes.

The launch event took place in the amphitheater of the University, where more than 220 people were present, among students of veterinarian medicine, directory, teachers and workers of the UENP, the Environment Secretary of the town and representatives of the Association of Animal Protection of Bandeirantes (Associação de Proteção aos Animais de Bandeirantes).

Twelve members of the Network-of-Light participated in the meeting Ellen de Souza Marquez, a teacher of Veterinarian Medicine and member of the Network-of-Light of Londrina conducted the opening of the event. Ellen was the first volunteers veterinary to help the Francis of Assisi Park, five years ago.

An audio-visual about the Francis of Assisi Park was exhibited and, afterwards, Ana Regina Nogueira, the authoress of the book, gave her lecture. She talked about the transformation that we must undergo in ourselves, the importance of group service, the responsibility of each one concerning the Kingdoms of Nature and, especially, about the love we feel while serving.

‘My impression about the work in Bandeirantes is that something much deeper than just the book launch took place; it was the beginning of a long work to the done to change the awareness of people’, said Ellen de Souza Marquez.

‘The suns of the hearts that were present were ignited again, and they received impulses and opened to new horizons’, said Miriam Tomoko Tsuge Costa, the coordinator of the Network-of-Light of Londrina.

I was touched at seeing those young people listening to the lecture, during an hour, in utmost silence and admiration’, said Flávia Santos, one of the coordinators of the Network-of-Light of South of Brazil.

When the lecture was over, Ana Regina gave an interview at the Radio Yara, which covers 250 cities and some foreign countries.

At the interview, Ana talked about the work of the Network-of-Light, the history of the Francis of Assisi Park, the Animal Kingdom, the importance and the role of the dogs and their relationships with humans, the spiritual challenges of today and the Service to the Bigger Plan.
