caes_vac_bento_goncalves2On May 17, 2016, the city of Bento Gonçalves, located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, received the launch of the second edition of the book, ‘Viver o Amor aos Cães’ (‘Living the Love for the Dogs’), published by Irdin Editora and written by Ana Regina Nogueira. The event propelled the formation of a missionary network of tasks with the Kingdoms of Nature in the city.

In the morning, the authoress gave an interview to the Radio Difusora 890 AM. Then she made contacts with representatives of several sectors of society, such as the Mayor and the Secretary of Culture of the city and entrepreneurs, who received an exemplar of the book. The initiative aimed at paving the way for various segments of society to get together to conduct effective actions of voluntary group service and of selfless service.

caes_vac_bento_goncalves4In the end of the afternoon, the public event in the Livraria Aquarela Bookstore was held, where took place a session of autographs, an exhibition of an audiovisual about the Francis of Assisi Park and a lecture of the authoress of the book. All the activities had the support of members of the local Network-of-Light.

‘The event was a landmark for a deeper work of service to the animal kingdom in the city. The message of love and selfless service transmitted by the authoress was striking. The idea and action of service became clear for the group, besides the importance of the courage to take new steps’, said Sarah, the coordinator of the Network-of-Light in Bento Gonçalves.

caes_vac_bento_goncalves3To Júlia Beatriz, from Campo Grande, state of Mato Grosso do Sul, the lecture worked as a light for Bento Gonçalves as it demythologized ‘modern’ life and clarified ideas concerning the illusions of intense materialism, ‘to me, the energy of transformation became clear during the event. The importance of the quest for an interiorized life appeared as indispensable for all who heard Ana Regina talk about true Service. This may lead to great transformations within the circle of people who were present, even touching, gradually, the city of Bento Gonçalves itself’.
