The themes of discussion were the rules of co-existence that are not being followed, the importance of organization and cleanness of the place, of the toilets and especially of the external area.

Right after the meeting, Indigenous refugees conducted works of cleaning and tidying of the place.

Visit of a group of the Evangelical Church, who did prayers with the refugees in the CRI.

After the group lunch, the missionaries did collection of food (vegetables, greens and fruits) together with members of the Civil Defense of Roraima in supermarkets of the region, where daily donations of food were decided upon.

Indigenous refugees helped the preparation of the donated food.

“Today we have perceived that a small key has changed in their consciousness concerning harmony and especially in group life”, said Clara, a missionary of the Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation.

To Mother Maria Gloria, of the monastery of the Grace Mercy Order, located beside the Nucleus-of-Light of Figueira in Roraima and that participates daily in the works, the interaction with the Indigenous refugees from Venezuela has been increasing each day.

“At first we would see people with a very closed face, but now they already smile, we see a certain spark in their eyes. They are also offering to help in the tasks. I perceive that a work beyond the purely physical is taking place”.
