The members of the Light-Network Guaruja, affiliated with the Fraternity – InternacionalHumanitarian Federation (FIHF), once again took on the task of distributing 100 basic food baskets this Christmas to families in socially vulnerable situations in the Morrinhos IV Community, in the city of Guarujá, on the coast of Sao Paulo. The campaign maintains the same slogan “Sponsor a Family from the Morrinhos IV Community, with a Basic Food Basket.” According to the coordinator of the Light-Network Sao Paulo and the one responsible for the campaign, Rosi Freitas: “donations can be of food or in financial value, so we make a single purchase directly from the distributor.”
For many years, the Light-Network Guaruja has carried out solidary work to assist this community, providing assistance in different ways, which include delivering basic food baskets, vegetables, fruits and greens to registered families.
