Thirty members of the Network-of-Light of the states of the South of Brazil were on March 23 in the Francis of Assisi Park, afilliated to the Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation, located in the city of Lavras, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Nowadays, the kennel of the Park has about 450 animals that were removed from the streets in state of abandonment or sick.

The group of the Network-of-Light visited the Park due to the launch of the book ‘Viver o Amor aos Cães’ (‘Living the Love for the Dogs’), which will take place in seven cities of the South of Brazil, in the month of May. After identifying the facilities of the Park, all of them participated in a group service to bathe the dogs.

Parque_Francisco_Assis_grupo_Sul4‘Here we felt more aware of how we can be more pro-active toward the animal kingdom. The Park radiates an atmosphere of permanent love, and the presence of the dogs and their need to manifest their constant feelings for the human beings nourishes this aura’, said Flávia, one of the coordinators of the Network-of-Light of the South of Brazil.

To Flávia, the meeting of the group in the Francis of Assisi Park enhanced more significant ties with the animal kingdom and brought the recognition of actions that can help the work of diffusion. ‘We feel that the ultimate goal of the work with the book ‘Viver o Amor aos Cães’ can promote the formation and sustenance of a missionary network of tasks for the kingdoms’.
