Between December 9 and 11, the Community-of-Light of the New Earth, located in Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, held the second part of the Ecumenical Meeting among Youths and Children.
During the three days of the event, different group activities were conducted, prepared by the children and youths themselves. There was the presentation of dance of the girls of the community, the presentation of a musical play in Spanish enacted by younger children and coordinated by the instructor of the Spanish workshops, the presentation of the Choir of youths and children and the live making of a painting panel by the students of drawing.
In the activity of the clowns, the enacting was done by the children of the community along with Pama and Mariam.
Besides the artistic activities, live workshops along with the Animal Kingdom and prayers were conducted during the meeting.
Also presentations of the Martial art Kenjutso, the art of the Samurais, and also the delicate and joyful dance of the geishas, the Buyou.
At the end of the event, Nélio Lúcio and Fábio, professional clowns of the NGO Hospitalhaços, presented their character Clap Clown, triggering lots of laughter in the audience.
