Possibility of renewal
We know that great is the possibility of renewal of the person who stays, at least for a few instants, aware of their union with God. Experiences of peace gradually impregnate them, bringing a stable, gentle and healthy quietness, which relax and heals everything.
To soak a dry land nothing is more efficient than the torrents of water coming from the sky. Likewise, to renew life nothing is more efficient than surrender to the will of the inner being. We may detain ourselves in the stopovers of the human deserts, but if the quest for spiritual life is sincere, we will see that the oasis that are presented are nothing else than ephemeral mirages. The fresh breeze of the mountain awaits us.
Light of the soul
When the light of the soul are noted as a sun, we will not need to keep our little lamp lit, because everything will be under intense clarity. We will always have this inner light illumining us.
Here follows a symbolic dialog between the being involved in the spiritual quest during ages, called Pilgrim, and the Divinity that dwells within each one, which we call the Lord:
“Oh, Pilgrim, who are you calling?
Why do you know on this door?”
“Oh, Pilgrim, who are you calling? Why do you know on this door?
“Lord, I have been walking for a long time, I am hungry, feeling cold and thirsty; I seek justice, I seek forgiveness, I seek to find my group. From it I moved away, distracted by the ephemeral beauties of the path; I gave myself to the pleasures of this world, my eyes darkened, my ears went deaf, I did not perceive where I was walking”.
“Sad past, I was away from the true reality! I acted against the Law, I know quite well that this was so. I suffered, Lord, I suffered a lot, and amid the pain I awakened: then my eyes opened, and my ears heard. I was being called again; I saw the Light coming towards me, I understood its appeal. I readily decided to attend it and resume the true path; nevertheless, I had a lot to walk”.
“Times passed. I cannot precise to You how long, Lord; it seems like I have been seeking for lifetimes. I want, above all, to join those who fulfill the Will of the Light that called me, which is the Supreme Will; I want to follow this Will. I have no more choices to make, enough with darkness; I surrender, Lord, to the Sublime Light that awakened me one day”.
“On my turn I tell you, oh, pilgrim, that you have never stopped being accompanied by this Light”. Even when you were lost amid the darkness, the Light was within you, calling you; nevertheless, deafened by the illusion of the world of forms you were. You were called intensely, until you could awaken; but you responded in time.
You walked, and with your own feet you arrived here. I tell you, if you are willing to wash yourself from the past, to forgive your brothers and sisters, to die in life and to lose your affections to enter true Life and to let yourself be absorbed in the ocean of pure Love, you knocked on the right door.”
You will be allowed to enter,
and you will not be the same anymore
“You will be allowed to enter, and you will not be the same anymore, for you will have in Light your fortitude; in Love, your life; in Power, the glory of the Supreme Lord. But if you have fear or doubt, you are not ready for freedom”.
“I confirm again my vows before you. I bow down in reverence and gratitude; praying, I surrender my life to Him Who created everything. May it be done according to His Will”.
And from within the light, the Light arose
And from within the light, the Light arose; in sublime canticles, the angels praised the arrival of the one who, once lost, has found the Path; being blind, saw the Light; being deaf, heard the Call.
