It is through the first feeling that we make the contact with the One and it is also through the feeling that we notice His  Presence. God instructs us, mainly through the heart in this evolutionary stage in which we find ourselves.

One of the  ways to open ourselves to the divine work  in our inner and through us is to cultivate a feeling  of care for everything and everyone, taking into account that we are all one being, that life is unique, that consciousness is unique and that, in reality, there are no separate individuals.

Another way to open ourselves,  also from working with our feelings, is to gather with no conflict, one of the first impulses coming from the High to whom is willing to evolve: the dissolution of  bonds with the matter.  If we perceive this stimulus, we can collaborate by avoiding the creation of new ties.  So, we will be  simplifying our destiny.

When feelings as detachement, self-forgetfulness and serenity or absence of psycological conflicts begin to  flourish,  when we start giving more importance to the plans of God and to the needs  presented, instead of  our own person,  it is a sign that our divine energy is already working with us.

As this inner and silent contact  with Divine is establishing and transforming our lives,  a state of balance is created in our being and we, all of a sudden, find ourselves within the Love, a Love that we did not know before.  As we feel and deepen  such a Love,  God starts counting on us as a channel to His work.

Then, our way to understand the other  enlarges,  and all life expands itself ,because we realize how much the humanity, animals, vegetables and minerals need this Love.  And this expanded understanding is another sign that the Divine is instructing us.

A way of including the mind in the spiritual process of elevation,  which the heart already experiences, is the study of sacred matters.  Reading the spiritual teaching and reflecting  on it,  systematizing  the divine knowledge, relating concepts of several schools of spiritual thoughts, identifying  what they have in commom and of most elevated are practices which can help the mind not to deviate from the way.

Another possibibility of mental work is the constant memories of the spiritual self which lives in our inner self.  If, during the day, performing  routine tasks, we remember and  revere  our spiritual self, we start establishing a conecction with it and we open ourselves to even higher contacts.
