In a Universe in permanent transformation
In a Universe in permanent transformation, little by little the human consciousness expands and discovers new ways of self-expression. With the inherent power that comes to it from Above, it breaks the structures that inertia perpetuates in material life. Thus happens with all things, with all beings and in all kingdoms: each one, in its rhythm and in its own way, renews and acquires broader perceptive horizons.
Prayer is also not exempt from this expansion. Prayer, under different angles, has accompanied the spiritual growth of the human being by means of time: it asks them resizing and revitalization, as a living language between God and us.
Liberate prayer
At a certain point, the moment comes to liberate prayer from the emotional and mental tendencies with which it is involved; the moment comes to clarify it, to remove from it all useful content, to silence the requests and supplications dictated by human will to help itself and another, without knowing what is the true good for each person.
And many are those who need to transcend that long stage based on claims and on good intentions, which, even when apparently positive, end up interfering in an undue way in the life of the other, whom one intends to benefit through the prayer.
The will of the spirit
According to esoteric teaching, supplicating prayer is a kind of individualistic control with finalities impelled by free-will, always conditioned by mental limitation. Different is the movement of the consciousness that seeks to move to subtle areas – of pure aspiration – and wants to find its point of reference beyond the soul itself. In this inner world, free-will does not work, because the will of the spirit reigns.
In reality, prayer projects in the world as a pacification of desires and of thoughts, and also as cessation of superfluous actions. Even without knowing and without directing anything, the person in abnegate prayer stimulates transformation in the others: they radiate clarity and lucidity to the planetary aura. Prayer is, therefore, an instrument at the service of the world, and, to be efficacious, must be born from humility.
Ascending impulse
Joining an ascending impulse, many yearn for a less theoretical understanding of subtle and profound realities of themselves. This transference of attention to subtle and internal levels expands the consciousness indeed and reflects, for example, in the nature of prayer, transforming it, uplifting it. Prayer, then, transforms in the commitment of codifying the new communication between the Creator and creature. Prayer becomes a dialog between the person and Absolute Silence, with foundations on Faith and without other objectives but union, as a drop of water that falls in the sea.
To serve Evolution
Detachment of human characteristics and the focusing on an inner state of growing emptiness, where one can find repose in the One who sees everything, can do everything and knows everything, it the step that for many today is announced in life of prayer. The only aspiration that will remain in them is to have the power of spirit prevail over matter, to act over the awakened soul to serve Evolution increasingly altruistically and unconditionally.
Prayer leads the person to discover and better understand what really sustains life.
