Network-of-Light of Colombia holds Meeting of Choir and records song

From October 14 to 16, 2017, the Network-of-Light group of Colombia held the 1st Choir Meeting of the Network-of-Light of Colombia, named “Singing with the Divine Mother”. The event, which took place in La Cumbre, in the Cauca Valley, had the participation of 20 members of the Choir “Hijos de la Paz” (Children of Peace) and of several collaborators. The objective was to record its first song, “Ave Maria Muisca” (Hail Mary Muisca).

The activity with the choir began in 2015, and since then the members travel, every three months, from several parts of Colombia to meet in Bogota and together continue the trip to the Lagoon of Guatavita.

Lagoon of Guatavita

The Lagoon of Guatavita is located in a mountainous depression in a circular form, with 700-meter diameter and is surrounded by native woods at an altitude of 3100 m. The group conducts this task with a lot of love and dedication four times a year. The devotion of the meetings was so great that, in this process of trips to the Sacred Lagoon, the idea arose of creating a Choir dedicated to the Divine Mother, even as the group did not have musical knowledge.

This last meeting, conducted in October, did not take place in the region of the Lagoon of Guatavita, but had the challenge of organizing and offering several musical recordings, besides fulfilling the activity of prayer. As the members came from several regions of Colombia, it was necessary to rehearse individually or in small groups in their cities of residence so that all were ready for the recording.

Singing with devotion

The rehearsals and the execution of the song “Hail Mary Muisca” were registered and will be part of the program “Music for the Healing and the Upliftment of Humanity”, to be broadcast soon via Mercy Mary TV. “Muisca” is an Indigenous people that lives in the region where the city of Bogotá is located, the capital and heart of Colombia. In ancient times, Guatavita used to be the solemn stage of the investiture of the Zipa, the Muisca leader. In the symbolism of the ceremony, the Lagoon constituted the material manifestation of the Feminine Principle of the Divinity.

“The whole work was a constant prayer. When we were not singing, there were groups of brothers and sisters who participated in the permanent prayer to sustain the group energy”, said a participant in the meeting.

Music is a powerful instrument of upliftment of consciousness, which can, in this sense, be an expression of devotion characterized by the “persistent will to expand one’s own level of consciousness”, an impulse that “accompanies the being, perpetuates and continuously grows, becoming increasingly direct and pure”, according to the definition of the entry “Devotion” in the Glossario Esoterico (Esoteric Lexikon) by Trigueirinho.

“During this first meeting of the Choir, we were aware of the fineness and minuteness of this whole process of recording a song, but not everything is completely ready, we still have to record something of percussion and a flute, as none of us knows how to play the flute. For this reason, we are seeking the collaboration of other brothers and sisters who can offer to help us record. Soon the process of finalizing will come, and we will be able to record the video-clip that will accompany the song. We are planning to film in Guatavita during the next meeting, which will take place in January 2018”, said another participant of the meeting.

Given the success of the initiative, the Network-of-Light of Colombia intends to give continuity to this kind of activity, and already envisions the possibility of recording another song to continue its work of service and prayer for humanity through music.

This meeting is inspiring and provides an example of how through group union, faith and devotion, a great force can be generated and it is possible to radiate impulses of peace and of fraternity throughout the planet.
