In these times when the Earth lives an intense phase of transformation, it is being permitted to the human beings to approach, by   means of service to their neighbor, levels they so far ignored and that they would hardly attain in normal times.

To decidedly respond to what comes from within one’s own being, to dive without reserves in the silent world that lies there – here is a path of liberation. Thus, a sacred presence can pulsate, eliminating unnecessary movements and bringing quietness and peace to the individual. This state of inner openness permits them to live moments of rare beauty, moments that do not dissipate and whose energy spreads in the air like a blessing.

When the individual penetrates the inner path

When the individual penetrates the inner path, recognizing themselves as a free and spiritual being, their inheritance as a child of the world is removed from their shoulders and the fragility which this inheritance normally brings them disappears. In reality, to recognize oneself as a free and spiritual being is not pretense, but a duty.

Nevertheless, when the Spiritual Presence begins to surface, there are in the individual confused areas that nourish egocentric and individualistic aspects. Thus, there is not enough clarity to prevent them to take the suggestions of the ego as true spiritual impulses.

Until clarity is attained

Until clarity is attained in the necessary degree, the being undergoes moments of inner struggle, when their luminous part, their soul, and their dark part, the ego, try, each one, to prevail. The ego wants, then, to make believe it knows what is correct, and repeats sentences and concepts in a superficial way.

The ego makes the human being want to be in the center of attentions and to seek their own satisfaction. The more an individual yields to selfish tendencies, the more they become bound to the confused conditions that characterize earthly life today.

Once, a friar looked for Saint Francis to say he did not know anymore how to act before the mistakes and the resistances of a brother who was under his spiritual cares. Francis then told him to love for that very reason, just because he needed to recognize the Light. And he also told him that the more he committed mistakes, the more he should be loved, in order to be attracted to the Lord. Saint Francis encouraged love for the weakest, so that they might find healing when nourished by this sacred energy.

Even though they are under the Law of Service, even seeking to  go beyond themselves to live close to the Divine, everyone has faults and, without noticing, they normally have their attention stuck to these faults. Thus acting, they increase the weight of the faults, forgetting that if they were turned to the Light, the faults would be dissipated more quickly.

Love and Wisdom

We can never repeat too much that it is necessary to develop and deepen the expressions of the energy of Love and of Wisdom. This potent vibration demands space in the human consciousness, as it is essential to transcend egoism, lest the involvement with the senses in the personal being should remain. In the face of each crisis, the wisdom of Love leads the being to the center, to where these faults do not exist.

When true love touches the heart of a person, they no longer criticizes and stops showing personal demands. Instead of opposing to what is limited, love seeks to expand the horizons of those who are confined in the material vision of life.
