Webinar Missão Colômbia

The second meeting of the Webinar on Education in Emergency Situations and Humanitarian Responses will take place on September 11, at 4 p.m. and will cover the subject: Consequences and Traumas of the Pandemic – Behavior, Good Practices and Experiences in Support of Children and Adolescents.

The aim of this meeting is to reflect on some of the main consequences of the COVID-19 health crisis on children and adolescents, especially those who were already experiencing a humanitarian crisis due to the Venezuelan migration to Colombia.

“Based on the discussion enabled by the first meeting on humanitarian crises and the importance of working with Education and Emergency Pedagogy, experiences of good practice  will also be shared to mitigate these consequences and impacts, in order to ensure full development, despite the emergency situation faced by the entire planet,” explains the missionary of the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Missions (FIHM), Anderson Santiago.

The Webinar is a partnership between the Universidad Santo Tomás of Colombia, the Fraternity – Missions (FIHM), Emergency Pedagogy, Mahle Institute and the Waldorf Educational and Social Corporation.
