Within a historical context where bad news and fake news are multiplying, just like the course of a pandemic that plagues the planet, social communications should have the task of fostering true, positive information, that values life, the good, the telling of good stories, and hope.

On the 54th World Day of Social Communications, Pope Francis emphasizes in his message that “we need to breathe the truth of good stories: stories that edify, rather than those that destroy; stories that help to find again the roots and the strength to continue together. In the confusion of voices and messages that surround us (…) a narration that knows how to look at the world and the events with tenderness, tells of our participation in a living web, reveals the weaving of the threads through which we are connected to each other.”

Evandro O. Leite, general manager of Irdin Editora, whose purpose is to disseminate works of a philosophical-spiritual nature for this period of global transformation and of a great need for the inner search, affirms that the great inspiration for the publisher is to carry this knowledge to the greatest possible number of people by means of different channels of communication. Be it through published books, a website, a YouTube channel, or social networks. “As people come into contact with the type of content that we release, they begin to experience an awakening and a vision of a different life, because it is a more inclusive way of life with respect to peers, the planet, and the other Kingdoms of Nature.”

Dissemination of works with a philosophical-spiritual content

“We consider it to be very important, in these times, to have a communication that sincerely aspires to build, edify, and humanize. It is through this form of communication that we seek to work every day in the building of Peace and the Common Good. It is that kind of communication that helps us, as humanity, to remain within the purposes of unity, fraternity, charity, and service,” emphasizes Friar Ignacio de Jesús, of the communication team of Misericordia María TV.

We must unite and make good messages resonate that will help us, in these doubtful days, to build paths to hope, peace, and truth.
