On this Saturday, June 25, 2016, the Solar Group conducts the ‘Meeting of Preparation for Emergency Situations’, in the Nucleus-of-Light in São Paulo – Sacred House of Mary – Mother of São Paulo, located in the city of Carapicuíba, metropolitan region of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. The idea is to prepare the structure of the Nucleus-of-Light and the people connected to it to act correctly in situations of emergency situations.
The Course begins at 8 a.m. and is expected to finish at 4:30 p.m. Members of the Monastery of the Divine Trinity of the Grace Mercy Order who live there and the most active collaborators of the Nucleus-of-Light participate.
Besides preparing the physical structure of the place for the times of emergency, the course has the proposal of training the participants on how to deal with the emergency situations that arise. ‘It is necessary to know what is correct to do and what is not correct to do in situations such as fires, rescues, floods, earthquakes, among others’, said Mauro Cristiano Cavalcanti, one of the coordinators of the Solar Group.
The Solar Group is a sector of the Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation, that renders assistance in various socio-environmental emergency situations, generalized public calamity and cases of risk and individual or collective vulnerability.
