In these times of disharmony and conflict, it becomes necessary to assume the spiritual life. Many are already discovering, after recognizing that the common human life is a mere play of dispersive forces. They sincerely seek the essence of their being, and, the more they penetrate this track, the more they identify themselves with the strength that there is in the center of their beings. Thus they expand their opportunity of self-perfecting and of service to the world and to humanity.
In the quest for spiritual union, we will be accompanined by a greater radiance than earthly light. We will see, then, what we did not use to perceive, and our imperfection will be highlighted. We remain attentive not to yield to suffering because of our shortcomings; it is good that we know that we will never be completely prepared. Self-perfecting is never-ending, and the continuous evolution will lead us step by step to our Dwelling.
If we want to find a pearl, we must seek it at the bottom of the sea. If we want to enjoy the beauty of the flowers, we must reverently place ourselves before them. If we want to discover the new, we must move towards God, the Source of all that is created. We must seek the light that neither the water nor the wind can extinguish.
