Since the release of the work in the Centro Cultural of the city of Lavras, Minas Gerais, on August 28, 2014, 26 presentations have been held in many cities of the State of Minas Gerais and in São Paulo, Brasília, Salvador, Recife and Fortaleza.

Now several presentations are being announced in the city of Sorocaba, State of Sao Paulo, when the second edition of ‘Viver o amor aos cães’ will be released. On April 5 it will be released during a conference of the authoress in the University Sorocaba (UNISO); on April 6 a talk is expected at the school of the Public City Network of Sorocaba and on April 7 an act of release at Nobel Bookstore.

In May, Ana Regina will be hitting the road in the South of Brazil, reaching the cities of Curitiba and Londrina (of the State of Paraná), Joinville, São Bento do Sul and Florianópolis in the state of Santa Catarina, and the cities of Bento Gonçalves and Porto Alegre in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

There are many outcomes of these various presentations. For example: in February, a group of volunteers of the NGO Cãogonhal, which works with abandoned dogs in the city of Congonhal, Minas Gerais, decided to visit the model kennel of the Francis of Assisi Park, in Lavras, whose story is narrated in the book of Ana Regina. This was right after a presentation performed in Pouso Alegre, a neighboring city of Congonhal.

The visitors were impressed with the harmony and love that reign in the place, despite the concert of barking that the 450 dogs housed there offer each time someone arrives, according to Lenilce Rezende Gomide, one of the volunteers in charge of the Park. The same happened to a group that arrived from Araxá, Minas Gerais.

On March 16, the newspaper “O Blumenauense”, from Blumenau, State of Santa Catarina, published an interview with Talita Maitê and Sinoê Vaz, a young couple who have added seven abandoned dogs to their home. Through the experience of love that this couple has developed in favor of the Animal Kingdom, they strongly recommend the reading of the book “Viver o amor aos cães”.

“When the petrified heart opens itself to a new feeling, that of benefitting other beings, each small act becomes important (…) The idea is to see the need and to serve. The dogs yearn to give us their love and are grateful for the love they receive”, said Talita to the newspaper “O Blumenauense”.
