The Network-of-Light of Divinopolis, Minas Gerais, Brazil, has held the exhibit “Crop Circles”. The event occurred in the City Public Library “Ataliba Lago” from February 5 to March 2, with the support of the City Hall and of the Secretary of Culture of the city.

Crop Circles are geometric patterns that have been arising in crop cultivations throughout the world since the end of the 70’s. The phenomenon concentrates in England, but these formations have been found in several other countries, such as the USA, France, Japan, Canada, Holland, Hungary, Russia, and even in Brazil.

The name “Crop Circles” is not so precise, as not all known formations are circular, nor do they appear exclusively in cultivations. These phenomenon has been seen on snow, sand, and frozen surfaces of lakes.

What do these symbols mean? How are they made? These are some questions that arise before such manifestations.

One hypothesis is that these drawings are symbolic messages from extraterrestrial intelligences to earthly humanity.

Most Crop Circles have peculiar characteristics, such as: presence of abnormal amount of electromagnetic radiation; the stems of the plants are folded, not broken; biophysical changes in the plants, and electric and magnetic devices, such as cameras, compasses and cell phones, do not work inside the drawings. These are just some of the abnormalities detected.

Francine Blake, a Canadian student of Crop Circles, says that this phenomenon is a “teaching that is coming to give us the knowledge that is necessary for the time that is approaching, for the new cycle that is about to begin”.
