The Network-of-Light of Guarujá, a coastal city of the state of São Paulo, Brazil, has promoted a Workshop of making of Angels and distributed kits with prayer to the poor community.
Members of the local Network-of-Light participated in the Workshop of the Angels. They made the kits with EVA foam. Each kit contains five angels and on each angel is a part of the prayer of the “Rosary for the Peace of the children in the war”, of the Grace Mercy Order. (see here)
The kits were give to the children of the community of Morrinhos IV, which the Network-of-Light group has been assisting every Wednesday since 2014, taking donations of food.
In this first workshop 31 kits were made. In the delivery of the angels, each child said a part of the prayer and then took the gift home.
‘The objective of the Workshop of the Angels is to have the opportunity of sowing in the heart of the children this prayer of the angel. The children become very aware of the presence of the angel, its help and protection. We believe that the aim of this work will be to sow this spirit of prayer in these little hearts’, said Rosi Freitas, coordinator of the Network-of-Light of Guarujá.

WORKSHOPS OF THE ANGELS
ROSARY FOR THE PEACE OF THE CHILDREN IN THE WAR
NEEDED MATERIAL:
Leaves of EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate)
1 – WHITE leaf
2- PINK leaf
3 – GREEN lea
4 – YELLOW leaf
5 – PURPLE leaf
1 – pair of scissors
1 – pencil
1 – White glue
1 – Prayer, printed and cut separately
1 – Roll of Ribbon
1 – Bags for packing
HOW TO DO IT:
– In the EVA leaf, scribe with the pencil the mold of the Angel;
– Each Eva leaf makes 8 Angels;
– After scribing, cut the Angels;
– Glue the corresponding prayer onto the body of the Angel;
– On the back of the Purple Angel, cut the bead of union of the prayer;
– Form the kits with the 5 Angels;
– With the scissors’ tip, make a small hole in the left wing of the kit of the 5 Angels;
– On this hole, pass a piece of blue ribbon so that the child can turn each Angel to make the reading of the prayer and;
– Put each kit inside a bag and close it with the ribbon
