The visit happened last Sunday May 29 when a Martial arts master and his group of students from the city of Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, visited the Community-of-Light of Nova Terra.
The Group of apprentices, formed by 25 people between adults and youngsters, called the Master – ‘ Sensei ‘.
The first activity of the Group was a presentation to the whole Community-of-Light, of the Martial Arts that they practice: the Kenjutsu and Kung Fu. Then the practitioners prepared and offered a Japanese lunch, with the help of some youngsters of the community and a sister of the Monastery. At dusk, apprentices, youngsters and children practiced a class under the direction of the Sensei. Eighty people connected to Community-of-Light of Nova Terra participated in the activities.
Who accompany these activities of Sunday, reported that they lived moments of great joy and fraternity, where the spirit of reverence, harmony and gratitude was present.
From the month of July on, the work with Martial Arts is expected to become a part of the activities of the Community-of-Light of Nova Terra.
