The Marian Center of the Child-King, located in the Community-of-Light of the Nova Terra, in Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, began on the 3rd of June the work of vigil of prayer on Saturdays. The work takes place on every Saturday.
The work of vigil of prayer is conducted by members and collaborators of the Nework-of-Light of Rio de Janeiro. The vigils begin around 9 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. with the Ecumenical Communion. About 15 people use to participate, together with the group of the Community-of-Light of the Nova Terra, that supports with music the work of prayer.
‘It is noticeable in all the joy, the fraternity and the strengthening of Faith generated by this work of prayer’, said Pama, a coordinator of the Community-of-Light.
The activities of the Network-of-Light group of Rio de Janeiro in the Community have been happening for some time already, as is the case of the group services. But since January of this year the group services began to take place always on the last Saturday of each month, from now on together with the work of the vigil of prayer.
‘The groups of the Network-of-Light needed to take new steps, to mature a little more. We needed to learn how to be fraternal, to deepen prayer and unity’, said Paula Gama, the coordinator of the Network-of-Light of Rio de Janeiro.
