Already available at the Bookstores of Irdin Editora the book “Ensolarar Vidas” (Under the Light of the Sun, in free translation), by Ana Regina Nogueira. The work describes the experience of love and thorough donation to the Kingdoms of Nature on the part of a couple, Mene and Hayla, who one day decided to consecrate their lives to the care of abandoned animals, wild animals and the Plant Kingdom, developing a broad task as responsible for the Sector of the Kingdoms of the Community-of-Light of Figueira and House of Light on the Hill, both affiliated to the Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation.

The book was launched las July 1 in the city of São Lourenço, Minas Gerais, on the occasion of the First Meeting of Animal Protectors of Southern Minas Gerais, which was organized by the group of volunteers Salva Bicho (Save Animals). The introduction was held at 4 p.m. and had the presence of protectors, veterinarians, representatives of NGO’s, local authorities and special guests.

Mene and Hayla

A call from the heart
Ana Regina opened the event narrating cases of animals with which the protagonists managed to build a fairly unique relationship. According to the author, the text offers the opportunity of better knowing the wild animals and thus transcending fears and prejudices. It presents an uncommon reality of harmonious and full-of-love co-existence between human beings and animals.

Then, Mene offered his testimony, highlighting that the secret to attaining this degree of interaction lies in saying “Yes” to the call of the heart, and in opening to collaborate with the animals, despite the difficulties that we can imagine we might find. “It is important to keep the confidence that the help always arrive when we take the first step, because the Divine is not only in the human beings, but also in each one of the Kingdoms of Nature”.

Hayla emphasized the importance of donating love to the animals. “We feel that we love when we serve God by serving the animals”, she said. She stated that the human soul can awaken, through love, a seed of soul in the animals. She shared, in a synthetic way, the task developed in the Park of the Kingdoms and in the Lands of Unity and highlighted the importance of fostering union among all those interested in the rescue of the Animal Kingdom.

Wild Love
The book also includes the experience of the Sitio Estrela (Star Ranch), where Tatiana Figueiredo and her parents host numerous animals, many of them wild. She reported cases of ferocious exemplars who were conquered and tamed “with patience and lots of love”, as she said, managing that they lost fear of human beings. In her opinion, the experience constitutes an opportunity God has given them to serve the Animal Kingdom.

At last, Lenilce and Patricia, representing the Francis of Assisi Park, in Lavras, Minas Gerais, presented a video about life in the kennel they administer in this place, which shelters 450 street dogs.

The author of “Ensolarar Vidas” is the same that has written two books of wide acceptance in the educational and youth sector of Brazil: Viver o Amor aos Cães (“Living Love for Dogs” in free translation) and Por que Ninguém me Disse Isso Antes – Segredos de gente, bichos, plantas e pedras” (“Why Didn’t Anybody Tell Me This Before? – Secrets of people, animals, plants and rocks”, in free translation).
