Through this video, we will get to know the stories of the Venezuelan refugees that are in the Tancredo Neves Shelter (Roraima), managed by the Fraternity – International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF). What their life stories have in common: struggle for survival, the hard road travelled until reaching Brazil, but above all, with them, they bring talents that are expressed in painting, music, and urban poetry in the form of rap.

Jean, a young composer and writer of rap, emphasizes that he feels proud of being who he is; he does not allow himself to be limited by his physical disability: “I am a person that has a purpose and a goal, and it doesn’t matter what happens, I have to fulfill it.”

Singer, musician, and painter, José, 69 years old, says that he was born to a poor family “but the talent that God gave me was a lot.”
