At the end of April, the Network-of-Light in Porto Alegre, filliated to the Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation, held three days of activities with the Animal Kingdom. The Group helped dogs and cats of a protector of the city, answering the call of Christ, where was indicated that the Spiritual Mission of the city of Porto Alegre is to serve the Animal Kingdom, especially the street animals.
On April 20 the group went to meet the most urgent needs in the place where the protector Maria Helena takes care of the dogs and cats. On a second visit the Network-of-Light volunteer brought a veterinary that applied injectable antibiotic in 44 cats protected by the caregiver, preventing in this way the spread of bovine Rhinotracheitis (feline flu).
On a third visit were carried 30 kilos of pet food for cats and 10 kilos of rice for the dogs. All activities had focused on the gracious and loving contact with animals.
