In order to raise funds for the diffusion of the “Pilgrimage for Peace”, the Choir of the Network-of-Light Ceará, in Brazil, focused on an event last June, held in Luiza Távora Square, downtown Fortaleza, capital of the State of Ceará, Brazil. Twenty-six participants were presents, of which 13 are members of Network-of-Light Ceará, and an audience of nine adults and four children, coming from different neighborhoods of the city.

With a duration about two hours, the event provided prayers and songs to the attendants of the square, in communion with the Kingdoms that are there. “Besides singing and praying to the Creator…”, explains Lucíola Falcon, filmmaker of the event, “…there was the diffusion of the Fraternidade leaftlets and material of Association Mary and of the Community-of-Light of Figueira.”

The Network-of-Light Ceará actually has 22 participants, with three coordinators. They affirmed that the proposal of the event was reached: “this movement has opened a cycle of a new format of tasks for the diffusion of the Pilgrimage for Peace. In addition, there was a commitment of the group to continue carrying out this activity. The idea is that the event is monthly, at least initially, and in different places. The work was harmonious and the result was positive, and happened at the same time of another event with young people in the place”, said Lucíola, who is also one of the coordinators of the group.

During the event a child asked for the image of the Virgin Mary, and was very happy to take also the images of Christ and Saint Joseph. Another person who passed by the place, asked them to pray for the young people. And at the end of the event, a young man approached and joined the closing prayer. In conversation with the coordinatiors, he was very interested in attending others events.
