The Group of Madrid of the Network-of-Light of Europe held last January 3 the March for Peace. The event took place in the Park del El Retiro, in the Spanish capital.
The meeting was at 12 o’clock, when the participants held some minutes of silence and then started the march holding posters and distributing flags with the word Peace in many languages. Even with the cold and humid climate, the event aroused the attention of many people who were passing through the park.
The March lasted two hours and ran about two km through the park. “To live this experience of work on the street, of an offering for Peace on Earth has left us a gift: a stronger and truer group union, affirmed Inmaculada, a volunteer of the Network-of-Light of Europe, group of Madrid.
