Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation (FFHI), is preparing its next Humanitarian Mission, this time in Egypt, country of Northern Africa, near the conflictive region of the Middle-East. This time, the mobilization is part of the Campaign for Peace.

A group of seven missionaries is expected to travel in June to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, where it will render humanitarian services, joining the Sisters of Charity of Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

“The proposal is that the task be concentrated in the city of Cairo, in both houses the Sisters of Charity maintain there: one of the places attends to sick elderly people and the other attends to children in situation of extreme poverty”, described Shen, a missionary of Fraternidade and the coordinator of Egypt Mission.

It is programmed that Egypt Mission will begin on June 14 and will last for eight to nine days. It will be executed by missionaries of Fraternidade and by volunteers of the Network-of-Light of Europe, who, thus, will complement the journey of ecumenical prayer that the Association Mary will develop in several European countries, by means of its Pilgrimage for Peace.

Those who feel motivated to collaborate with this initiative that pro-peace in the Middle-East can do it by means of the dissemination of the event, through financial donations and through donations o fair miles. It is necessary to cover the expenses with air tickets, transportation by land, food and lodging of the missionaries.
