The missionaries visit the City Hall of Pirque, located in the metropolitan area of Santiago of Chile, and which belongs to the Province of the Cordilheira (Mountain Range). The objective was to get in touch with the institutions that are acting in fires and to learn about the needs.

The group visits the Emergency Refuge of Bigger Animals (REAMA) in Doñihue, in the region of O’Higgins, about one hundred kilometers from the capital. The refuge shelters animals that were rescued from the fires of left by their own owners, when they did not have material conditions to look after them.

The missionaries will begin the work in the refuge tomorrow.
