Fraternidade – International Humanitarian Federation and its network of volunteers  act to help the animals affected by the recent tragedy occurred in the city of Mariana, Minas Gerais, Brazil.the breaking of tailings dams of a mining company in the region has caused a flood of mud, provoking destruction ofthe district of Bento Rodrigues, affecting many municipalities and contaminating the Doce River with tailings. So far, the tragedy has caused seven dead, ten disappeared and more than 600 homeless.the animals were also seriously affected and at every moment they are being rescued from the mud.
