On March 5 and 6 of 2016 will be held the 32nd Marathon of the Divine Mercy in the Marian Center of Figueira, near the town of Carmo da Cachoeira, Minas Gerais.
The Marathon consists of the prayer, each day, of 1,500 beads of the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, an activity that is finished in about six hours of continuous prayer. The work has the aim of invoking the Divine Mercy for the whole world, thus promoting Peace in these times of crisis.
Those who cannot participate in the Marathon in person can follow it on the Mercy Mary TV website (www.misericordiamariatv.org) in two live transmissions the first 150 beads, starting at 8 a.m. and the last 150 beads, starting at 3 p.m. (Brasilia Time). The organizers invite the people who participate through the internet to keep praying throughout the day, in order to complete the 1,500 beads, whether individually or in group.
