\"\"<\/a>In the cities of Boa Vista and Pacaraima, in Roraima, in the north of Brazil, there are Venezuelan teachers and assistant teachers working directly in education areas. In order to do this, because they too are refugees, they received a technical-educational update for applying in the educational work that is being carried out in the refuges. This updating is done through the Humanitarian Roraima Mission, administered by Fraternidade-Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Humanit\u00e1ria Internacional (FFHI)\u00a0<\/b>(International Humanitarian Federation), in partnership with the Unicef.<\/p>\n

This update was done from March 7 to 10, four days of training based on a learning\u00a0approach called\u00a0Education for times of emergency.<\/i><\/p>\n

This is already having a beneficial effect on a population that includes almost 1,600 refugees which, including children and adolescents, all Venezuelan immigrants, and amongst whom there is a considerable number of indigenous people.<\/p>\n

Emergency Education<\/b><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In this event, the specific objective of the emergency education was that of transmitting the technical foundation for the educational work that is being carried out in the refuges, where the most vulnerable population, in this case, children and adolescents, has been affected by the abrupt departure from their country.<\/p>\n

After crossing the frontier, they show symptoms of panic, fear, problems in sleeping, eating, and relationships and personal development, as well as other symptoms.<\/p>\n

In this sense, the educational strategy aims at fostering self-confidence and autonomy in those affected, as well as at the formation and\/or support of the personality. Always focusing on the principles that a guide in childhood (learning, playing, eating, sleeping), an effort is made to re-establish their emotional and physical balance.<\/p>\n
