\"\"<\/a>The Youth Campaign for Peace has continued with its actions of humanitarian service and of assistance to the Kingdoms of Nature. During the weekend of June 29 to July 1st<\/sup>, there occurred in the city of Sao Carlos, state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, the Third Missionary Youth for Event for Peace. On the occasion, it had the support of the Nucleus-of-Light of Figueira<\/a> in Sao Carlos, of collaborators from the Network-of-Light<\/a> and of missionaries<\/a> of Fraternidade \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation (FFHI)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

More than 30 people participated, coming from various cities of Brazil, including youths and adults, who accompanied the initiative.<\/p>\n

A unique experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cIt was a totally different experience, I would tend to say unique\u201d, testified Carolina Kabbachi. \u201cWe are discovering how this very simple practice of helping works. To both of us, it was an opportunity of finding ourselves\u201d, complemented Marilia Santilli. Both live in Sao Carlos and it was the first time they participated in an activity of service with the Nucleus-of-Light of Sao Carlos.<\/p>\n

It strengthens the soul<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cThe Missionary Practice allows us to come into contact with other realities that strengthen the soul, it is something so good that it cannot be expressed in words\u201d, shared on her turn Amanda Januario, another among the young participants.<\/p>\n

It renews one\u2019s vision of the world<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cIt is an experience that completely changes our vision of how the world works\u201d, added Victor Prado.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen someone sees the joy of someone or of a little animal, who receive a tiny help, care, this brings a happiness that is not from this world, it is something that springs from within, an experience that everyone should have\u201d, stated Bianca Montemovo Mello.<\/p>\n

Activities<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>On the first day, the volunteers helped improve the conditions of a humble little house in the neighborhood of Antenor Garcia, the home of a young couple and of its two children. In this place, they supported the tasks of the couple and of a group of construction workers. They replaced the precarious plastic cover of the ceiling with a wooden structure and PVC plates, painted the walls and made other improvements in the yard.<\/p>\n

On the second day, they went to a private shelter for animals (dogs, cats, birds and turtles). There they harmonized and reorganized a storage, cleaned sectors of the wide yard and helped the construction of a hut for the reception of more cats. The place houses, at the moment, about 250 members of the Animal Kingdom.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Later, the youths joined, via internet, the international network of of Youth Prayer for Peace.<\/p>\n

Finally, on Sunday morning, they fraternized with the 75 elders of \u201cPensionato do Aconchego\u201d. The activity began with a spiritual exercise of dynamic and interactive prayers; then recreational manual activities followed, with artisanship of flowers and painting; a snack was served with sweets, and lastly, there were dances and music of spiritual content. A noisy parrot and a hen accompanied with a lot of enthusiasm the hours of clatter in the place.<\/p>\n

The next Missionary Youth Event for Peace will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay, from July 20 to 22, 2018, Friday to Sunday.<\/p>\n
