Ana Regina Nogueira, one of the managers of the Francis of Assisi Park<\/a>, in Lavras, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and authoress of the Book \u201cLiving the Love for the Dogs<\/a>\u201d, published by Irdin Editora<\/a>, talks about the importance of the naming and electronic identification of dogs for the evolutionary process of these animals.<\/p>\n

Last week, the Francis of Assisi Park, which shelters in its kennel about 450 dogs, received its third Group Work of Canine Electronic Identification<\/a>, as was reported at the website of the Fraternity \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation<\/strong>. In addition to the practical advantages of a dog being identified electronically, there are deeper reasons, connected to the evolutionary process of the animal.<\/p>\n

To Ana Regina, the naming and identification process facilitates the evolutionary ascension of the dog, as its individualization is fundamental for the treatment of its physical conditions and in order for the veterinarian to follow its health history, being able to give it the cares and treatments that are due. Nevertheless, according to Ana, there is a higher and more internal reason than this, which concerns its spiritual evolution. \u201cOne day the dogs will enter the human evolutionary line, not on this planet, but on another one. They will be people. The name is word and, as word, it vibrates. Each dog has a unique history, and a name helps shaping it\u201d, she affirms.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>To Ana, an animal that starts to recognize its name develops more quickly its nucleus of mind and its nucleus of soul. \u201cThe dogs, having evolved for thousands of years side by side with human beings have a concrete intelligence with the potential of a three-year old child. They can tell a yes from a no and, to a certain extent, they understand our language. They recognize sentences, emphases and tones that are given them. The dogs walk an evolutionary path, a reason why they need people around them, teaching them and calling them by their names, talking with them\u201d, she concludes.<\/p>\n
