In general, homes lack the energy quality that is necessary for souls to make use of them as a field of higher evolution. Even in those which still manage to remain organized, attention is limited to material evolution and the maintenance of the patterns established by society, which are frustrating for souls. Concerning relationship in the family group, let us keep in mind some conducts that might facilitate co-existence, in the spiritual sense. One of them would be for the individual to be responsible and careful with family members as well as the other creatures, avoiding special affections and binding attachments that habits and traditional culture stimulate. Another behavior would be to seek not to encourage conflicts that derive from the fact that the members of the family have different interests or paths, which is common in the disorder of current times.<\/p>\n

Impartiality, neutrality<\/strong><\/h3>\n

As a great part of families were formed as a school of perfecting and opportunity of purification, it is likely that, if one of its members acts in an unusual way, out of the patterns of the majority, this may irritate the others and provoke their antagonism. In these cases, impartiality, neutrality, it to be evoked and developed by the individual. Thus, he or she will be in better conditions to avoid conflicts and the legitimate fraternal spirit can prevail and express itself in an increasingly universal way.<\/p>\n

Family ties are not necessarily limiting, but the case in which they are no tis rare. One of the few examples that is known in which the members of a family helped one another divested of the need of human experiences was that of Sainte Terese of Lisieux. Her parents, who had profound spiritual aspirations, had nine children, of whom only five, women, survived; and all of them devoted their lives to consecration to God. By the characteristics that the members of that family, without exception, showed, we can see that they were a group of souls dedicated rather to the expression of higher spiritual energies than to the satisfaction of desires or to the accomplishment of projects of a personal, material and external order.<\/p>\n

First instructor<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In ideal terms, the family institution should play the role of first instructor of the individual that comes to live in it, and prepare them to find their own inner regency, and to recognize their part in the progress of the world. However, in a general way, families are unable to fulfill this role, and the being finds more obstacles and facility to perceive universal realities in the affectionate and in the spiritual fields.<\/p>\n

Family, as an institution, is carrying a heavy karma, hard to solve in those who compose it remain in the level of ties of mere affinity or rejection. A part of the current problems of relationship in family is due to this; it is also due to the fact that as a social group it has lost meaning to many.<\/p>\n

Currently, when institutions created to help unexperienced beings break down (such as family, religions, state and others), it is necessary to have true need to attain real spiritual life to undertake such quest by themselves and with a minimum of external support.<\/p>\n
