The House Light on the Hill<\/a>, of the Fraternity \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation<\/strong>, organized in the morning of November 28 a Group Work of Attendance at Wanderley Ferreira de Rezende State School, in the town of Carmo da Cachoeira, Minas Gerais, Brazil. More than four hundred people were attended free of charge<\/p>\n

\"mutirao_escola_artes2\"<\/a>Sixty-four professionals of different areas attended the community that participated in various activities at the school. On the tables of the refectory the Art Workshop operated, where, during the whole event, one hundred fifty children could work their creativity by means of drawings and paintings, accompanied by the psychologist. At the school court noboty remained still during the body work, when one hundred and ten children, boys and girls, participated in games, circle dances and drama. Who needed to improve their look could take advantage of the haircut.during the group work there were more than forty haircut both to children and adults.<\/p>\n

\"mutirao_escola_amissionario_eletricidade\"<\/a>In the classrooms several attendances were organized. Where mathematics was studied, an Electricity Workshop was put up.the Missionary of Peace explained about the energy consumption in a house, the devices and how to save energy. A panel assembled with electric materials showed how the process of electric energy in a house works, since it comes from the pole to the lit lamp. In the next classroom, other Missionaries of Peace of the Fraternity \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation<\/strong> showed videos and talked about the missions in which they participated throughout the world.<\/p>\n

In another classroom, the theme were the seeds.there we found children watching the movie \u201cThe Man who Planted Trees\u201d and saw many envelopes with various kinds of seeds to be donated to whoever wanted to put up a domestic garden. All the seeds are pure and cultivated at the Community-of-Light of Figueira<\/a>. \u201cIt is important that people may know that old and traditional methods, without chemical processes, are more beneficial\u201d, said Friar Renato, a monk of the Monastery of the Sacred Humility, of the Grace Mercy Order<\/a>, that belongs to the Fraternity \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation. Between one video and another, Friar Renato explained the importance of awareness to take care of the seeds: \u201cThese are pure seeds, called \u2018Crioulas\u2019, which have in its genetics the originary consciousness.the preservation of a pure seed is the preservation of a pure archetype\u201d, he explained.<\/p>\n

\"mutirao_escola_terapeutas\"<\/a>In the Health sector seventeen professional volunteers participated, who performed 48 attendances during the event. Only in a room were gathered several therapists who applied reflexology techniques and other kinds of work with touch. Psychologists also gave consultations as well. During the group work eighteen medical attendances were done with the physician and twenty-five attendances with the ophthalmologist.<\/p>\n

\"mutirao_escola_odonto2\"<\/a>Maria Am\u00e9lia arrived early and seized the opportunity of updating her health: she passed through various attendances, visited the ophthalmologist, the dentist, the physician and received acupuncture, all in a few hours. \u201cI left satisfied, I enjoyed the day\u201d, she said. In the van parked near the school court, the dentists Ana Beatriz and Clarissa attended whoever needed help.the work was directed to emergency services with the aim of alleviating pain and suffering, such as broken teeth and swollen mouths. Besides the attendances themselves, guidance was provided and toothbrushes and toothpastes were distributed. \u201cWe attended a mother who used the same toothbrush to the whole family\u201d, said Clarissa.<\/p>\n

\"cao_cuidadods_mutirao\"<\/a>The animals were also object of attention during the work group. In the Animal Care Room, volunteers from the Ranch of the Kingdoms, of the House Light on the Hill, would give information about basic hygiene care, nutrition, disease prevention and also performed attendances of first aids. \u201cWhat we see the most are animals with ticks, cynomosis and dogs for castration\u201d, says Aica, a volunteer specialized in animal attendance at House Light on the Hill.<\/p>\n

The group works of attendance are done several times a year by the House Light on the Hill in different places. \u201cBesides the material help, we try to propagate the seed of unconditional love, of fraternity and care to the kingdoms so that people may awaken to the needs of our planet\u201d, says Miriam Galv\u00e3o, coordinator of the event.<\/p>\n
