\"Nic6254947\"<\/a>The Missionaries<\/a> of Peace of the Fraternidade \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation<\/strong> already have the departure period for the Middle East Mission, which will be on the second half of January 2016. The group will work in the refugee camps of Turkey.<\/p>\n

Fourteen Missionaries of Peace of different nationalities will compose the group. All of them have experience in international Missions of Peace in places such as Brazil, Asia or Africa. The return is expected at the end of February.<\/p>\n

\"barco_refugiados1\"<\/a>The drama of the refugees started in 2011 in Syria, because of a civil war that forced thousands of people, more than half the population of the country, to flee the country. Many face dangerous trips in precarious ships, crossing the Mediterranean Sea towards Europe. According to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR<\/strong>), more than three million Syrians are refugees, making this the biggest humanitarian emergency of our age. Nowadays about one million refugees need help and many of them are facing a rigorous winter now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
