\"\"<\/a>About 50 people participated on Sunday, 12, in the \u201cMeeting of Choirs in Figueira\u201d, held in the Community-of-Light of Figueira<\/a>, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Members of choirs connected to the Choir of the Communities-of-Light<\/a> rehearsed songs composed by the group itself and also by known composers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event took place in the auditorium of F2 area of the Community-of-Light of Figueira and served as a preparation for the Meeting of Music for the Healing and the Upliftment of Humanity (MHUH), which will take place in Figueira in December and will again be transmitted live.<\/span>\u00a0The meeting had the participation of instrument players and choralists who integrate the choirs of the Nuclei-of-Light<\/a> of Figueira in Belo Horizonte and Sao Paulo, besides singers and instrument players from Brasilia, Santa Catarina and the city of Carmo da Cachoeira, where Figueira is located.<\/span>\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThey are people who participate in liturgies and work with music in the Nucleus-of-Light of their city\u201d, said Hernan, a resident of the Community-of-Light of Figueira and a member of the Coordinating Board of the Choir of Figueira.<\/span><\/p>\n

Marildes Nogueira da Silva lives in Carmo da Cachoeira and has been participating in the choir for about one and a half year. \u201cThe joy I feel when I am with the Choir is different from everything, it is a joy of the soul\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Besides songs composed by the group itself, they sang songs by composers that included Bach and John Lennon.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBasically, the songs we create are a praise to the Creator. We aspire that the chant may Express our inner experience of work in the spiritual centers and may serve as an offering for the upliftment and healing of humanity\u201d, said Hernan.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Meeting dealt with practical aspects, such as musical theory, solfeggio, vocal technique, physical preparation and study about the ninth Symphony of Beethoven. But also of inner aspects, such as the relationship of music with the blow of life and the Creation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nice Ribeiro came from Sao Paulo, where she participates in the Choir of the Nucleus-of-Light of that city. To her, the meeting went beyond the rehearsals and updating of the sector: \u201cWe made contact with new songs and talked about the importance of sound. To me, the special point was to watch the video of the ninth Symphony of Beethoven; it was a moment of silence and of upliftment\u201d.<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

According to the participants, the meeting that gathered all the groups of choirs was very important as it created a group consciousness, and thus contribute for each group to continue with their rehearsals in their regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe try to reach the main nucleus and real reason why music has been utilized throughout the times, as a tool of connection, materialization and opening of important moments for our humanity\u201d, said Friar Paulo, the coordinator of the Choir of the Communities-of-Light.<\/span><\/p>\n
