Tuesday, December 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beginning of the vaccination campaign in the CRI \u2013 Center of Reference to the Immigrant, in the city of Boa Vista. Medical and dental services. Activities with children, including playful activities, games and drawings. Therapists assist officers of the Civil Defense and volunteers that support the work in the CRI.<\/p>\n

Volunteers from Venezuela
\n<\/strong>L\u00e9o Tarola is Venezuelan, has been living in Brazil for 16 years and works as a tour guide. He works with his wife as a volunteer in the CRI, carrying out several activities. \u201cMy profession has led me to visit places where there are very needy indigenous people and other people. My wife and I have decided to help this needy people and we came to work at SESC to give support\u201d, said L\u00e9o.<\/p>\n

L\u00e9o also helped giving showers to many children in the CRI \u2013 the Center of Reference to the Immigrant. \u201cThe expression of the children was impressive, by my arms passed about 25 kids, and each one transmitted an explosion of joy and different feelings\u201d, concluded L\u00e9o.<\/p>\n

Home visits and visits to hospitals
\n<\/strong>Home visits were paid, with distribution of food and clothes. Small packets of products, destined to sale, were also distribute to propitiate some financial help for the refugees.<\/p>\n

Visits to hospitals where some children are interned and also a visit to the Fair of the \u201cPassar\u00e3o\u201d, where a person was referred to hospital with suspicion of tuberculosis.<\/p>\n

Situation in Venezuela
\n<\/strong>Venezuelan witnesses report that there are no medicines in Venezuela nor other adequate health attendance. Many come to Brazil and return to their country of origin take some resources.<\/p>\n
