\"casa-luz-colina-recreacao-bom-retiro_02\"<\/a>The House of Light on the Hill<\/a>, affiliated to the Fraternidade \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation<\/strong>, has organized a recreational activity for children in the neighborhood of Bom Retiro, in the town of Carmo da Cachoeira, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The event was directed to the poor children of this area and had the support of the Monastery of the Sacred Charity of Saint Joseph, which belongs to the Grace Mercy Order<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Several children participated, with a lot of joy, of the playful proposals presented, from 10 a.m. until noon. The recreation took place in front of the parish hall of the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe objective is to offer these children, who spend a lot of time on the streets exposed to all kinds of danger, an opportunity of sharing positive moments, of exercising unity, peace, Fraternity and so many spiritual values, through that which they like most: to play\u201d, commented Miriam Galv\u00e3o, a volunteer of the House of Light on the Hill at the sector of social activities.<\/p>\n

Miriam told that this time the activity was more modest than those of previous occasions, but the intention was kept of helping with a lot of love a humble neighborhood, where the material needs are many and the children are often forgotten concerning their affective and communicational needs.<\/p>\n

At the end of the games, which awoke the pure and spontaneous noise of the children, a simple snack was shared, with sandwiches and live music.<\/p>\n
