A singular and challenging year, unprecedented in the history of humanity. The Coronavirus pandemic brought us significant lessons: in the shelters it forced us to stop and review concepts and attitudes, to reinvent ways of working and interacting to be able to continue activities safely.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">In this video we will see how the Fraternity \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation (FFHI), even with so many challenges, managed to carry out many activities thanks to the support of partners, volunteers and donors.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-shortcode\"><iframe title=\"Melhores A\u00e7\u00f5es da Fraternidade - Humanit\u00e1ria (FFHI) no ano de 2020\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qe5grgTRN9w?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:20px;width:100%;\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The 3 missions were continued in: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/roraima-mission\/\">Roraima<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/colombia-mission\/\">Colombia<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/?s=angola\">Angola<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assistance was provided to approximately 1,650 refugees in shelters in Roraima.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0It participated in the flow of interiorization of approximately 8,100 Venezuelan refugees in shelters in the Temporary Lodging in Manaus (ATM).<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0It translated the Sphere Handbook into Portuguese.<\/li>\n<li>There were more than 20 training courses for volunteer missionaries and partners, among them:<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Internal training on the Sphere Standards for approximately 1,200 collaborators of the Humanitarian Fraternity (FFHI).<\/li>\n<li>Certification and Education in Times of Emergency &#8211; Colombia<\/li>\n<li>Training Meetings with Young People of the Saint Isabel Children\u2019s Home &#8211; Angola<\/li>\n<li>Ubuntu Leadership Academy \u2013 Angola Mission<\/li>\n<li>Training and Qualification in the Sphere Handbook and Minimum Requirements &#8211; INEE<\/li>\n<li>Therapeutic Design Courses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">In this closing year, we had valuable lessons in empathy and the care of others; to look for more sustainable alternatives based on collaboration, solidarity, and respect for our common home, our Planet Earth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Above all, the Humanitarian Fraternity (FFHI) thanks all those who contributed so that refugees, immigrants and all the people that were accompanied by the institution this year were able to receive support, care, and dignified conditions of life.
