{"id":116485,"date":"2020-07-16T10:54:45","date_gmt":"2020-07-16T13:54:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/?p=116485"},"modified":"2020-07-16T10:56:38","modified_gmt":"2020-07-16T13:56:38","slug":"dance-as-an-expression-of-awareness-through-coexistence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/dance-as-an-expression-of-awareness-through-coexistence\/","title":{"rendered":"Dance as an Expression of Awareness through Coexistence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Children and young people of the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/comunidadenovaterra.org\/quem-somos\/\">Light-Community of the New Earth \u2013 Crer-Sendo Service Nucleus<\/a><\/strong>, affiliated with the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/\">Fraternity \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)<\/a><\/strong>, participated in the whole process of the creation of a video about dance which was in one of the various workshops done at the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/comunidadenovaterra.org\/escola-viva-parque-tibetano\/\">Parque Tibetano Live School<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">With the participation of around thirty people, the choreography, the singing, the lighting, the filming, and the editing was all done by the trainees themselves with the teachers of the school following along.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-shortcode\"><iframe title=\"Dan\u00e7a\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cC8c1Ky3pd8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:20px;width:100%;\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div> According to Agnes Castelar Toledo, one of the participants who acted as the dance instructor, one of the objectives was to \u201cdemonstrate to the children and the young people that with patience, union, respect, love, thoughtfulness, and choice, everything can be created and manifested.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Divided into dancers and operators of the cameras, according to the interest shown by each one, the trainees carried out the tasks and brought life to the work. According to Agnes: \u201cthrough the art of dance, we used the idea of each one\u2019s movement, and all of us together did the editing of the audio and the filming.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">It is with this in mind that the whole learning structure of the school is based on, including the different workshops offered, and this audiovisual is an example of that, which is confirmed by the stories of the participants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">For Clarissa Castelar Toledo, the experience of coexistence brought clarity as to the need for developing patience: \u201cI discovered that I set a rapid pace and others take a little longer, so it\u2019s necessary to learn to be patient.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The development of each human being through the expression of their soul in coexisting as a group, proposed by Pama, is well demonstrated in this work with the dancing, which caused the group to create the video.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The expression of the group, the development of each one, the fraternal coexistence among all of them was what was being explored, and Agnes makes this clear: \u201cThe intention was not just to do a task of recording a video, but rather a class in which we could learn and make mistakes together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The result achieved by this group of trainees can be felt, perceived in each detail of this video, in the composition of the scenes, in the expression of the bodies, in the rhythm, in the involvement, in the looks, in the sound, in the song, in the union. Each one naturally bringing their presence, surrendered, to manifest the expression of the group, of life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">In the final evaluation of Agnes, a lot of positive things were achieved with this work: \u201ca lot of joy, union, acceptance, creativity, and mainly, mutual respect.
