Within a historical context where bad news and fake news are multiplying, just like the course of a pandemic that plagues the planet, social communications should have the task of fostering true, positive information, that values life, the good, the telling of good stories, and hope.<\/p>\n

On the 54th<\/sup>\u00a0World Day of Social Communications, Pope Francis emphasizes in his message that \u201cwe need to breathe the truth of good stories: stories that edify, rather than those that destroy; stories that help to find again the roots and the strength to continue together. In the confusion of voices and messages that surround us (\u2026) a narration that knows how to look at the world and the events with tenderness, tells of our participation in a living web, reveals the weaving of the threads through which we are connected to each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

We must unite and make good messages resonate that will help us, in these doubtful days, to build paths to hope, peace, and truth.<\/p>\n
