The Brazilian Government created the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/acolhida-operation-in-manaus-receives-the-visit-of-representatives-of-the-federal-government-and-of-ambassadors-of-several-countries\/\">Acolhida (Welcome) Operation<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to face the challenges that have emerged. In Roraima, General Barros, commander of the Humanitarian Logistics Task Force \u2013 Operation Welcome, values the participation of the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/\">Fraternidade \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0as a partner for dealing with the situation.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-shortcode\"><iframe title=\"General Barros fala sobre a Fraternidade-Humanit\u00e1ria (FFHI)\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TZ8k2cjTQnI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:20px;width:100%;\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The General was appointed to this position at the beginning of 2020 and in that short time he has already formed an opinion: \u201cOf the relationship I have with the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/\">Fraternidade \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)<\/a><\/strong>, I say: trust. I trust not because of the portfolio of the organization, but because of what I saw in\u00a0the people involved. The partnership came from the trust. Behind me there are several soldiers, and behind each soldier there are various partners, such as the Fraternidade-Humanit\u00e1rias (FIHF). We have to set up an invisible battalion that is behind all this structure that is working.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/\">Fraternidade \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0offers the other partners, such as the Brazilian Army through the Acolhida (Welcome) Operation and the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unhcr.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UNHCR<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(the UN\u2019s Refugee Agency), a variable collaboration, especially in the management of people, in the daily life of the refugee shelters. It brings a human touch, art, and coexistence to the operational efficiency and professionalism of the other partners. In this way, those professionals, through the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/\">Fraternidade \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)<\/a><\/strong>, can enter into contact with a different kind offor human activity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The direct, receptive and attentive language spoken in the welcome, the openness, the willingness to share, to solve the problems, all of this is impregnating the climate of the shelters. It is visible to everyone, because it is not something based on theories; it is simple. A language accessible to anyone. The Missionaries of the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/\">Fraternidade \u2013 International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0play with the children, do art, encourage the practice of sports, attend to the adults, create projects to solve basic needs, talk, encourage events.
