text-align: justify;\">Since 2019, these meetings have been taking place in the city of Boa Vista, with the intention of training the team of 12 missionaries that work with the children and young people that go through the shelters under the management of the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b><strong>Fraternidade FIHF<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The purpose of the training is to make the educational environment \u2013 in teaching and in playing \u2013 a means for welcoming and caring for the Venezuelan children in the context of the humanitarian crisis who have migrated to Brazil, making it possible to create a feeling of security and normality for rebuilding their lives.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima02.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-111066 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima02.jpeg\" alt=\"Curso de Pedagogia em Roraima\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima02-200x133.jpeg 200w, https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima02-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima02-400x266.jpeg 400w, https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima02-600x400.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima02-800x533.jpeg 800w, https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima02.jpeg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">This is a great challenge, because it is necessary to permanently revitalize the available physical environment, seeking harmony for the rebuilding of resilience in the children and young people being cared for.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cThis meeting was based on activities and practical experience, where the art educators had the possibility of accessing their inner personal reality to better understand the situation of those being cared for, through rhythmic movements, songs, drawing, handcrafts,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>explained Acacia, coordinator of the training team, reflecting upon the importance of the childhood stage, an essential perido of existence that has need of special protection and care.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Dr. Daniela Boaventura, a pediatrician doctor that is part of the training team, commented:\u00a0<em>\u201cwe brought to the art educators a way of seeing how to work with children and young people, indicating the parameters for normality in each stage of child development and stimulating the awakening of a sensitivity for perceiving changes in behavior, symptoms and health signs that are typical of a situation of immigration and refugee status that the indigenous and non-indigenous Venezuelans are experiencing. In this way of observing, we brought some expansion in the protection of the children and adolescents.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Khatery, also a member of the team, with training in Germany in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pedagogiadeemergencia.org\/a-pedagogia\/\"><b><strong>Emergency Pedagogy<\/strong><\/b><\/a>\u2013 one of the branches of Anthroposophy \u2013 participated by bringing artistic expression as a means of interaction, with the purpose of releasing the traumas that may have been established in the children and adolescents.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima03.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-111069 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima03.jpeg\" alt=\"Curso de Pedagogia em Roraima\" width=\"1000\" height=\"562\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima03-200x112.jpeg 200w, https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima03-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima03-400x225.jpeg 400w, https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima03-600x337.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima03-800x450.jpeg 800w, https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/img-curso-pedagogia-roraima03.jpeg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This work was a partnership between the<a href=\"https:\/\/institutomahle.org.br\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a0<b>Mahle Institute<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/about-us\/\"><b>Fraternidade FIHF<\/b><\/a>, within The Common Good Project developed by the latter since 2018 in the humanitarian response to the Venezuelan situation in the States of Roraima and Amazonas. The feelings of lightness, of healing, of a more expanded breath, of the happiness of being a child with its spontaneity\u2026 of the hope for a better world\u2026 was described by most.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">With this further training, the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b><strong>Fraternidade Humanit\u00e1ria FIHF<\/strong><\/b><\/span>\u00a0renews and expands its response to the Venezuelan immigrant population in Brazilian territory.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/roraima-mission\/\"><b><u>Find out more about our work in the Roraima Mission.
