{"id":109844,"date":"2019-12-09T10:30:16","date_gmt":"2019-12-09T13:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/?p=109844"},"modified":"2019-12-09T10:30:16","modified_gmt":"2019-12-09T13:30:16","slug":"bruna-kadletz-inclusion-appreciation-and-recognition-of-human-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/bruna-kadletz-inclusion-appreciation-and-recognition-of-human-life\/","title":{"rendered":"Bruna Kadletz \u2013 inclusion, appreciation, and recognition of human life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\"><i>\u201cIt is necessary to align our hearts, minds, and hands in order to put spiritual principles into practice and bring to life a more aware, inclusive, and loving way of relating to the planet and to one another.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<div class=\"video-shortcode\"><iframe title=\"Bruna Kadletz - inclus\u00e3o, valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o e reconhecimento da vida humana - PT\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/J0S4--BJQxc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i>\u201cIn spite of dealing with a difficult and unpalatable subject \u2013 children and young people exposed to the traumas of wars and conflicts, natural disasters and social collapse&#8211;, the mood of the seminar was light, joyful and united.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Bruna Kadletz is the creator and co-founder of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/circulosdehospitalidade.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>C\u00edrculos de Hospitalidade<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Circles of Hospitality), a non-profit organization that, in Florianopolis, Brasil, carries out\u00a0<b><strong>educational, cultural, and social projects focused on refugees and immigrants<\/strong><\/b>. She is dedicated to spiritual activism through humanitarian initiatives, writing, lectures, and facilitating workshops.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">She has been active on border and post-conflict areas with populations forced to relocate \u2013 such as in Lebanon, Palestine, Turkey, South Africa, Serbia, and others. She has a Master\u2019s in Sociology and Global Change through the University of Edinburgh, in Scotland, and is an associate of St. Ethelburga\u2019s: Center for Reconciliation and Peace, in London, England.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Bruna became more familiar with the work of the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/\">Fraternidade &#8211; International Humanitarian Federation (FIHF)<\/a><\/strong> in 2017, at an event sponsored by <a href=\"https:\/\/circulosdehospitalidade.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>C\u00edrculos de Hospitalidade<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in partnership with\u00a0Emergency Pedagogy, where some members of the\u00a0<u>Light-Network<\/u>\u00a0were present. In December of 2018, she spent two weeks experiencing the\u00a0<u>Roraima Mission<\/u>, between Boa Vista and Pacaraima, where she assisted the work of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/\">FIHF<\/a><\/strong> and led roundtables of discussions with Venezuelan women in the three shelters she visited.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cIt was an incredible experience! I \u00a0learned a lot through the activities of the FIHF in the management of the shelters, its ethics, and principles of self-care,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>she says.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">In the\u00a0<b><strong>Seminar on Education in Situations of Emergency and Humanitarian Response<\/strong><\/b>, which took place at the end of October and beginning of November of this year in Carmo da Cachoeira MG, in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.comunidadefigueira.org.br\/portal\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Light-Community of Figueira<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 headquarters of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fraterinternacional.org\/en\/\">FIHF<\/a><\/strong>, Bruna led discussions inspired to humanize the way of looking at the off-limit zones where refugees are located, not only the physical but also the cultural and emotional areas. An invitation for inclusion, appreciation, and recognition of human life and thus\u00a0<em>\u201cwe pierce the boundaries that separate us from ourselves and others.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Bruna considers it fundamental to include the soul and consciousness of the being in the process of education, a direction still given little value, and observes:\u00a0<em>\u201ceven so, that wisdom was the overriding tone of the seminar and prevailed at the other tables, conferences, and workshops.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cI left the seminar with a renewed heart in the hope that it is possible to create and experience a reality of cooperation, of love for our fellow being, of interconnection, of an awareness of the new humanity,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>she adds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLXq1dWdytmgwyl4tFZSamZcMRn9nZtslg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Seminar on Education in Situations of Emergency and Humanitarian Responses<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0also included various other talks on the subject of education in emergencies.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLXq1dWdytmgwyl4tFZSamZcMRn9nZtslg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>ACCESS HERE THE PLAYLIST OF TRANSMISSIONS (IN PORTUGUESE OR SPANISH)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cIt is necessary to align our hearts, minds, and hands in order to put spiritual principles into practice and bring [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":109749,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[150],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-109844","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v21.0 (Yoast SEO v21.0) -
